Our skin is a gland that regulates our body temperature and hydration. Our skin has three types; oily, dry and combination skin. Drinking an adequate amount of water is important for skin health as our skin cannot produce moisture naturally. To keep skin moisturized taking of water is necessary.Oily skin: Skin comprises seven layers. Beneath its first layer skin sebaceous glands that produce natural oil known as sebum. Oil maintains skin integrity, freshness, hydration, and health. When sebaceous glands produce excessive oil our skin looks shinier. Production of excessive oil is due to exposure of skin more in direct sunlight, stress, warm environment, hormonal imbalance, menstruation, and stress. Due to oil acne, open large pores and pimples appear on the face usually under eyes, around the nose, and on cheeks. There is a benefit of oily skin is at aging symptoms appear very late on the skin.
When we drink more water in a day, the brain transfers signals to sebum to produces not more oil as a requirement of the body is fulfilled.
Dry skin: While we cannot drink water according to our body requirement dehydration occurred. Due to dehydration wrinkles and fine lines appear on the skin.
